never sure if people like anime characters a bit more realistic but i just feel like, while arakawa still made mistakes, she gave us a lot of facial diversity in a genre that’s usually so paltry when it comes to that, so i get a thrill out of trying to build off of the quirks i interpret from their characters

Honestly the lack (to my knowledge) of an edwin pride and prejudice au is so heartbreaking?? Like ed and winry would be perfect as darcy and lizzy.
I don’t actually remember seeing anything like that either, and I dare to say I’ve seen quite a lot of fics… But you are right, p&p au would be perfect for them! Inspired this ask, I actually borrowed the book today (I’ve seen some movie/youtube adaptations of it so I think I have a pretty good idea about the plot, but books are always a different story) so who knows, I might write something in the future 😉 (Altho it is quite likely to be just a one-shot)
