Winry: Don’t you realize you could get killed?!
Ed: I’m not going to die. I’m 15.
Winry: And so you can’t die?!
Ed: I just don’t see it happening.

I still can’t believe the anon who said they were jealous of me, because right now I’m sitting here being jealous of the skills of various writers. (TBH I wish I could rip the Envy out of me like Father did)

I was supposed to finish my part of the fic trade with @edxwin-elric today but unfortunately there’s still an entire scene I want to write into it, and it’s already 10:30 pm here. That means I’m gonna have to delay posting it a bit. (You can still go to read the drabble I wrote yesterday. Or ice skating AU. Or something else :D)

@ the TATBILB anon, I’m gonna reply to your message when I have more time, truth to be told I haven’t considered it that much yet. But I do think for example the sibling situation can be a bit difficult to adapt in this case.

EdWin drabble: Perfect

My fav @kilmartin85 gave me the prompt “You’re hiding under the blanket because you’re blushing?” (well, technically you gave me a free choice so this is what I picked) and since I know you love the ice skating au, here’s a little treat for you. (Let’s pretend there are bands/musicians from our world in the ice skating au.)

Warnings: nothing too bad I think

Ed and
Winry were spending a rare night together in Resembool. After the Olympics,
everything had been a blur, and they hadn’t gotten many opportunities to visit
each other, but about a month after their separation, Winry got an opportunity
to travel to Ed’s hometown. Normally, Ed lived alone in Central, but after breaking his leg his father had insisted that he should stay in Resembool at least
until his leg was properly healed, and even to his own surprise, Ed had finally
agreed on it. To everyone who was listening, he explained that it was only
because cleaning, cooking and other household chores were difficult on crutches, but Winry knew
better. He wanted to give his father another chance, finally understanding why
he had reacted the way he had after his mother’s death.

Now they
were huddled on the couch in Ed’s room (Ed had made it loud and clear no one should
get too close to the room while Winry was there), just relaxing in each other’s
arms after a heavy reunion make out session. Winry reached to take her phone
from the TV table and suggested they put on some background music.

“That
reminds me… We have known for two months already but we have never discussed
our music preferences. What kind of music do you listen to?” She asked.

“Take a
guess,” Ed challenged her, and Winry was immediately ready for the game.
