some of my fav manga scenes that were left out of the animes in no particular order:

• tiny baby ed in oversized plaid pajamas and tiny baby al in his too-big slippers holding on to ed’s sleeve
• al telling the devil’s nest gang that they’re lame while they’re holding him hostage
• ed getting jumped by another dog and al utilizing his big scary appearance to save him (let my brother go, ‘kay? *grrs* KAY? *lightning strikes in the background and the dog runs away in fear*)
• that one surreal panel where winry and ed prance down the beach while she chases him with a chainsaw
• Roy and Riza meeting the elrics because there was a typo with their ages in the file
• Riza making a time travel joke about said typo
• envy walking in on ed in the shower and al’s like brother cover ur butt -_-
• ed and al’s primary school teacher throwing chalk at them for not paying attention to the lesson
• Roy attempting to blackmail ed because he knows about the human transmutation and ed immediately shoots back that he knows about Roy’s pyramid scheme ‘cause he didn’t even act worried when ed tried to spear bradley
• Then Roy pointing at ed and being like Riza can u believe this kid and rizas just like u could at least PRETEND you care sir :////
• Ling trying to court winry and ed’s just like wiNrY!!!!
• Selim calling ed a small bean
• that time Hohenheim casually fathered the hell out of ed while also sitting on the toilet
• mei fantasizing about her and al skiing and snowboarding
• ed nearly having a conniption when he found out Ling was younger bUT TALLER than him so he told Ling he had a freakishly adult face
• the one (1) time Roy called Riza by her first name
• Al and Hohenheim running into each other and Al’s like DAD?! and Hohenheim’s like MY VINTAGE ARMOR?!
