Anyway, yayz, I’ve overcome my laziness and colored something! But I’m not sure whether I’m satisfied with the result or not, like really, because one time I was and the other time I wasn’t and now I still don’t know..
Of course an inspiration to draw it was Milos movie. I have mixed feelings toward the movie, it was much more about Julia and her bro rather than Ed and Al, let alone Winry or Mustang’s team but drawing this comic was such a fun ^^
So I added some quick background to transparent version of the first pic and added a bonus sketch as I promised, and don’t ask me why Ed’d be afraid of flying on a broom I just wanted to draw some epic Winry with terrified Ed so I came up with this idea besides drawing scared ed is just so much fun
So I was going through my folder with old art and thought, mb I’d share with you my very first fma works when I was still learning how to draw in this style, so these are basically only re-draws
i still don’t know if posting it is a good idea.. but also thought, why not?
idk if this counts as “unlikely,” but these two def have the most underrated friendship in the series.
Like, riza is such a mom to the boys, but I feel like she would also be considered a motherly figure to Winry? She’s def someone Winry admires, and I feel like it given the chance they would probably become quite close.
Also, I lowkey headcanon that Riza knew Winry’s parents during the Ishvaal War–not personally, but they were really kind to her and made a huge impression on her. Their deaths probably hit her kinda hard, but seeing Winry grow up and have such a full heart comforts her :’)
