Don’t Forget 3.10.11

Sadly not what I had in mind for this year’s FMA day, but I’m still burned out post con 😦 I was thinking of skipping it but my conscience would not let me sleep without drawing something FMA related for today 😂

I think ed would angry cry and violently lose his temper over the Nina situation, but you didn’t write her too ooc

That’s a fair point. I’m still glad you think it wasn’t too ooc! Honestly speaking, often when I think about my ice skating au Ed, he is not quite as temperamental as the canon!Ed, so I need to remind myself to add something to show his temper. There’s a possibility that once I’ve finished the entire fic, I’ll go back and rewrite some things, but we’ll see. Thanks for the comment! 🙂

Slightly OT but I’ve written 1600+ words for the next chapter so far so it shouldn’t take too long to finish! Here’s hoping it will happen tomorrow 🙂

Elric brother had been squirming in his bed for quite a while now, and Alphonse,
who had been reading in the corner of the room, had naturally noticed.

“I… No.” Ed
didn’t want to worry his brother anymore than he already did. He didn’t need to
know that he was squeezing his silver watch under the sheets to keep his mind
in control. He didn’t need to know every time he closed his eyes that day, he
saw a house, their house, burning down just like it had exactly 3 years ago.

Sometimes
it felt like they hadn’t progressed almost at all since starting their journey
to get their bodies back. Al was still just a soul in a suit of armor, and he…
well, he didn’t really care if he had to spend the rest of his life with his
metal limbs, but he knew Al cared, so he was pretending he wanted them back as
well. In his opinion, they were a small price to pay compared to what had
happened to Al…

“You’re lying,
brother. Just admit it,” Al noted matter-of-factly.

“Fine,” Ed finally
sighed. “Do you know what day it is?”
