This is one of my fave anons I’ve ever received! That’s why I feel even worse than usual for being so slow at answering. Thanks so much for letting me know, I definitely went to check the tag right away and loved all the Winry art I saw there :’)) I also found some v nice edwin artists thanks to it and was happy to see at least on twitter edwin (and Winry, most importantly) is still appreciated 🙂 🙂

Thank you so much! I’m always surprised but v happy to hear that someone enjoys my fics 🙂 Unfortunately I do not have a ffn or a03 account (yet at least, I promise to keep you guys updated if the situation changes). But if you want to see all my fics, here’s my fic tag where you should be able to find all of them, or if you want a simpler list, here’s my fic masterpost (that should be updated, I have been a bit lazy lately) 🙂 The masterpost has my oldest fics first and newest last so I would go for the newer ones if I was you :’D

This is gonna be an odd mixture of characters but how about: Hughes, Paniya, Rose, Mei, Scar, Ling?

That sounds like a fun mixture! It’s refreshing to talk/think about characters who are not Ed or Winry for once (I know my blog is like 95% Edwin).

  • Push off a cliff: Uhh… Scar? Just bc he’s tough enough to make it (+he can use alchemy/alkahestry to create some kind of net or something)
  • Kiss: out of these characters I’d probably smooch with… Paninya? ya.
  • Marry: Hughes! In a universe where Gracia doesn’t exist, that is. But he seems like the sweetest husband.
  • Set on Fire: Sorry Ling, I’m not willing to burn Rose or Mei :S But you have a philosopher’s stone inside you, you’ll survive.
  • Wrap a Blanket around: Rose. I’d tell her it’s gonna be OK.
  • Be Roommates with: Mei! She’d be one interesting roommate.

Ed, Winry, Paninya, Lan Fan, Ling, Al

  • Push off a cliff: Ling falls off a cliff a lot today?? But c’mon he’s such a ninja he can make it. 
  • Kiss: Oh. Hmm. (Adult!)Winry?? (Once again sorry Ed)
  • Marry: I /would/ marry (adult!)Ed but as we know he’s married with kids so let’s say Al, lol (sorry Mei)
  • Set on Fire: :S :S either Lan Fan or Paninya but I don’t want to do it… Paninya just bc Lan Fan would kill me if I tried anything like that. (Which definitely doesn’t mean Paninya can’t kick my ass bc she could and would)
  • Wrap a Blanket around: Ed ♥ I want to wrap a blanket around him and tell him that none of it was his fault.
  • Be Roommates with: I guess I ended up living with Lan Fan… That’s gonna be interesting.

Edwin is actually an incredibly popular ship…

Maybe it /was/ (and could still be in Japan but as someone who’s not capable of communicating with Japanese fans I wouldn’t know), but when you look at the new fma content, 0,1 % of it is about edwin these days. I’m really not even exaggerating much. I don’t remember when was the last day that I saw something that made me go !!! in the tags, and sometimes it feels I’m one of the very few content creators for this ship at this point. I get it, FMA was finished 8 years ago and tumblr users are rooting for their m/m and f/f ships these days (which is fine), but sometimes I still wish that even those who aren’t “hardcore” shippers would remember the existence of edwin. Edwin might be liked, but not loved. It is a very small problem and I get it, but does that mean I’m not allowed to feel slightly upset about the lack of new content? No.
