Hey, I saw that you were a little bit off today so, do you wanna talk a bit about EdWin? I don’t know if you’ve noticed but in the end Al talks about how he and his brother are going to change the law of equivalent exchange so if you receive 10 you should give 11. Okay, then when Ed proposes to Winry she’s the first one to prove Al’s theory giving Ed more than a half of her life!! It’s just a crazy thought that came to my mind tho😅. I hope the mention EdWin’s proposal made you feel better😘!!
The mention of the Edwin proposal always makes me feel better :’) I also love Ed’s comment about Winry kicking equivalent exchange’s butt because he wouldn’t ever be able to marry a woman who wouldn’t question his actions and theories. Good scene, good scene.

I was gonna say I would fight him but then I remembered he has Riza Hawkeye by his side and… no, not gonna risk it. (So, fight for him)

Not gonna lie, I was more excited before I knew how some of the people in this fandom interpret his character… But let’s say 7.

Kinda… yes… kinda… no. (he has the looks but I’m not sure we’d get along very well… Plus, Riza exists)

Of my fics he probably has the biggest role in my ice skating au. So, yes, I have written about him, altho the story isn’t about him. I have tried drawing him a couple of times but I can’t figure out his eyes.

In this case I could choose both (because I know he loves fighting), but I wouldn’t ever beat him so fighting for him is a much safer option. I would fight for him, either way.

Honestly when it comes to Ed’s voice I’m a bit conflicted. Romi’s voice fits the 15-year-old boy in the beginning of the anime, but Vic’s voice fits the Ed in the last episode. But both are good in their own ways? (that wasn’t asked but I’mma give my opinion anyway)
Olivier

Hi! I’ve read that you wanted to talk about EdWin a bit? Here I am to rescue you! Well, I wanted to ask you which one of EdWin’s moments is your favourite. I think mine is when he told her that her hands were meant to heal instead of kill… Or that other one when he’s almost dying but he endures it bc he doesn’t want to see her cry again… Or maybe the time in the end when Winry temporary looses her soul and her last thought was for Ed… Ugh, it’s so difficult to choose just one!
(Sorry this took so long to answer!) Yes, I’m always ready to talk about Edwin! That’s so sweet of you :’) Oh boy almost all the edwin moments are my favorite moments. I gotta admit that the “your hands are meant to heal” is a very, very strong contender for the gold medal spot, but honestly, there are so many other great ones as well? Like those you mentioned… You know they love each other when they think about each other in near death situations :’)
The proposal is freaking amazing as well, I’m so glad I wasn’t spoiled on it (I did know there was gonna be a hug but I didn’t know Ed was gonna do THAT and it was awesome). It’s just so incredibly THEM, being awkward, using alchemy terms, and so on… Plus, it means my OTP is CANON and if that isn’t the best feeling in the world, I don’t know what is x)
(Also, pretty much the entire Briggs arc, f. ex. Ed patting Winry’s head after she confronts Scar, Winry giving her the earrings, etc… And the scene in Winry’s room before the Promised day is hilarious altho I admit having mixed feelings about certain aspects of it)
In conclusion: All EdWin scenes are good ♥
