I know right. He’s actually a softie under that edgy cover. Those examples you just brought up prove that. Honestly that’s one of the reasons why I love his character, because he has so many different sides to him.

Ps. I still have a couple of headcanon asks (both related to Al’s reactions to Ed and Winry as a couple) but I’ll keep them in my askbox for a little bit longer bc who knows, I might get inspired to write a fic 😀 But thanks to everyone who sent these, my askbox is /always/ open for fun messages like these 🙂

i like how ed’s morals were handled in the manga and fmab because you’d really expect there to be a moment where he has to overcome his aversion to killing u know? and the fight against pride seems like that moment but instead of finishing pride he….literally lets him be reborn? he gives selim a new life which is the total opposite to killing him. i think that’s pretty neat
