Mei <-> Ling are swapped, so Mei is now the bratty princess of the Yao clan looking for the secrets to immortality to become Empress of Xing, and will pester Fullmetal Alphonse to death for information on the Philosopher’s Stone. Armor Ed thinks the whole thing is HILARIOUS..

also had Fuu <-> Lan Fan swapped so Lan Fan is the grandmother to a young Fuu, but only for the one comic. I’m not crazy about the idea.

I’m just thinking of that scene where Ed almost got to see Winry topless because he was in her room when she came to get dressed. When she asks him why he was in there in the first place, he claims that he just wanted a quiet place to eat his sandwich. But I think the real truth is that he really did miss her and he was worried about her because he hadn’t seen her in ages. He didn’t know if she was okay or if she was being held captive and her life had been put at risk so many times that it’s terrifying. And I think this is also the point where Ed has come to realise that he does have feelings for Winry and being in her room is like being with her. It’s filled with her stuff and probably memories from when they were kids and used to hang out together with Al. It brings back comfort after so many months of dealing with the homonculi and unravelling the dark secrets to run beneath the surfaces. Being in Winry’s room and being back at the Rockbell household was him being home and he missed it so much, as much as he missed Winry.
