Confession time: I’ve read my fair share of M-rated EdWin fics (well, that shouldn’t be a surprise considering I was one of the mods for EdWin smut week), and I have noticed that one of the hottest things the author can write into a smut fic is consent. “Do you trust me?” “Is this OK?” “Only if you want to” etc. I like to think that Ed is that person who always wants to make sure Winry is ready for whatever he has in his mind (and of course other way around too) and every time a ff author portrays him that way, I’m like “yes! You are writing him right!”
