I’ve had this sketch in my images for a few months now, but that discussion about how Ed is actually punk rock/metal af and not emo made me want to color it

and, well. anything that gets me to open photoshop nowadays is a big plus

so if you’re a guitar player and you see a bunch of inaccuracies, listen. the joints of my fingers hurt just thinking about you playing the damn thing so maybe let me fudge a little bit for the sake of my sanity + health

I don’t know man, I see this headcanon floating around referring to Ed as emo, but I think his sense of style as a teen is more grungy punk.

I’m totally with you. I’ve always said he would listen to punk rock (yes, maybe even grunge, which is a fusion genre) giving himself a pinch of metal (death and black or speed and trash ♡).
