OK but imagine at Ed and Winry’s wedding Mustang has to go out into the hall because he’s crying and Hughes comes out and just says something to the effect of yeah, they grew up pretty quickly, but look at where they are now and then Mustang just yells at him “you don’t understand! What are you going to do when Elicia gets married!” and then Hughes starts to cry and Hawkeye comes out and just has to watch disapprovingly as two grown men sob about their children growing up.
