As expected, we’re watching Yuri on Ice in celebration of my friends birthday, so I took this opportunity to expand upon my Full Metal Alchemist figure skating AU. I didn’t think I would draw more, but whoops, I went whole ham into the pit after my first drawing of Ed.
In this AU I pictured Roy and Riza as Ed’s coaches, and they used to be a famous pair skating duo. Roy does his choreography and helps with the technical aspects of his routines, while Riza focuses more on the actual emotional aspects of his performances, but they tend to switch these often just because they both know what each other wants to do. Ed finds this very annoying, but he’s generally okay with it when Hawkeye does it. When Mustang does it, though, it just annoys him.
