What this rating doesn’t show is that I have a bit conflicted feelings about this ship. I mean, isn’t it a tiny bit weird that a man who’s 500 falls for a girl who’s less than 20 (she was 26 when she died and Ed was 5 then so he was made when she was 20)? But if you ignore that weirdness that’s only possible in fantasy books, it’s a very beautiful (and sad) ship. The screaming and crying part comes from how tragic the ship is, from Hoho leaving to Trisha’s death and so on. My heart aches when I think about how this family should have been able to spend more time together and how neither of them saw their children grow up (I mean, Hoho did obviously get to see the boys before his death but he hadn’t been there to see there the entire process). But they clearly loved each other a lot and that alone makes me “agsdfgdhgh”.

28. Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
As best friend: both Ed and Al. Of course she seems them in a different way but obviously they are both important to her. And I don’t think Winry has an enemy in the way that’s meant in this context… Of course Kimblee tries to manipulate her, Scar has killed her parents, and so on, but I see the ‘enemy’ here in the Harry Potter vs. Draco Malfoy way, if you get what I mean.

33. Concept of home and family?
I hope I understand this question correctly… Home and family are very important to her. Because of what happened to her own parents, she does her best to provide her own kids the best possible home to grow in. But home doesn’t necessarily mean a certain place in her opinion, instead its where her loved ones are. While she loves Resembool, she’s mostly attached to it because of her Granny (and Ed and Al) and she has no problem moving to Rush Valley in order to move forward on her career. Because her family moves with her, she feels at home there.

  • Marry: Riza. She’s not even that much older than me (I mean, she wouldn’t be if FMA happened in the modern world) and she’s not as harsh as Olivier :’) And she’s fab. 
  • Set on Fire: reborn Selim Bradley. Gotta make sure the pride in him doesn’t wake up ;P (nah that’s actually not the reason, I just like the ladies more)
  • Wrap a Blanket around: Black Hayate of course :3 :3 Must protect.
  • Be Roommates with: turns out I would be doing this with Edwin first born. And I’m totally fine with it. I’m sure living with Ed and Winry’s kid would be Something Else. :’)
