Al in fma 03: my big brother is one of the smartest alchemists ever, although he can be a bit reckless at times
Al in brotherhood: I love my brother but he’s an idiot 70% of the time
Al in the manga: this short asshole is so stupid and honestly if it weren’t for me he would be dead by now

i need there to be a moment in the future where winry tells everyone that her husband was so nervous around her that he once recited the periodic table by heart. to calm down his frickin’ nerves.
winry never lets edward live that down.
i love my sons, edward and alphonse elric and my daughter, the beautiful winry rockbell.
thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Ed: do you like your gift?
Winry: …this is a photo of you dabbing.
Ed: my most prized possession, you’re welcome.
Winry: I think you’re still suffering the effects of your party last night.
Ed: All I drank was Redbull!
Winry: How many?
Ed: Eighteen.
Edward: Hey… You know who’s a great lady? Your mother!
Ed’s son: Yeah, we’re all on board. We all love Mom. You don’t have to advertise for her.
Ed’s daughter: Though it’d be weirder I guess if you named someone else…
Ed & Winry: [Argueing about something]
Toddler: (walks in) Mummy? Daddy?
Ed & Winry: (start making out so their kid doesn’t know they were fighting)
Toddler: Eww! I’m going back to bed.
Ed: How’d you get out of your crib?
Toddler: I punched it open.
Ed: Thats my girl!
Winry: (Annoyed) Edward. What were we just talking about?
Ed, texting: hey babe i got something to show you
Winry: You hit ”send” on that picture of Mike Wazowski and I hit ”end” on our relationship
Ed: i don’t have anything to show you
HEADCANON – Ed and Winry kept their relationship a secret at first but Al soon figured it out due to their slip ups like Ed’s T-shirt in Winry’s washbasket or Winry smelling a bit more like Ed’s deodorant than her own.
fuCKING DORKS yes they totally woULD those are like my favorite things those friggin dorks being in love and careless and aCKKK
Alphonse Elric could continue to be an optimistic cinnamon roll because his big brother spent most of their childhood shielding him from the reality that they had been failed by every adult in their lives. Edward grew up feeling like he couldn’t count on anyone. Al knew he could always count on Ed.
