I’m catching up on my requests. Thanks for your patience. I adore EdWin, so it was a pleasure to write this. It’s very short, but I hope you like it.

Edward ran up the hill towards his home. Winry was going to be furious. He had missed the last train home from Central the previous day. He’d promised he would make it home in time for dinner, too distracted by research to realise the time. He made the first train the following morning, but the damage had already been done. It was their first wedding anniversary after all.
As he neared the gate, Den started barking. Moments later, the dog came bounding out to meet him, flanked by Granny.
Edward waved with a sheepish grin. “Uh – hi.”
Granny arched an eyebrow. “You’ve got a lot of work to do.”
Edward sighed, shoulders slumped. “She’s pissed.” He reached into his pocket and took out a crudely wrapped box. “I hope this helps.”
“Have you two of them?”
“Thanks for your help and support.” He shoved the box back into his pocket and rolled his eyes. “Don’t worry this is a sorry, I have an actual anniversary present too.”
“She’s tearing the workroom apart.” Granny squeezed his shoulder. “Best of luck, Ed, you’re going to need it.”
Ed grimaced and headed for the workshop. He could hear the banging of tools and the clanging of metal. He opened the door and stuck his head around the door. The room was dark except for the dim light from overhead.
“Win,” he called.
“Well, look what the cat dragged in?” Winry stepped forward into the light. Her arms were crossed. “So, you finally came home.”
“I missed the last train. I’m sorry – really sorry. I know you had a nice dinner planned.”
She turned her back on him. “It’s fine.”
“Fine?” He ran his fingers through his hair. “Winry, are you angry with me?”
“No!” She dropped her head and started tinkering with the automail on the worktop. “I meant it. It’s fine.”
“Win, c’mon, let’s get it over with,” he said. “It’s not like you to pass up an excuse to yell at me.”
His attempt to lighten the mood wasn’t working if her clenched fists were anything to go by.
“Are you trying to piss me off?”
“Hey-” He held out his palms, “-Just a joke, honey.”
“It was our first wedding anniversary, Ed. it was supposed to be special.”
He put his hand on her shoulder. “Hey Win, I’m sorry.”
She whirled around to face him.
“I might be a little annoyed, Ed,” she said, her voice strained. “I don’t like coming second to your research.”
“You don’t come second.” He dropped his shoulders. “I’m just terrible at time keeping.”
Her face softened. “You’ve got that right”
“Does that mean I’m forgiven?”
“You’ve got a lot of making up to do.”
“I brought you something to say sorry.” He fished in his pockets and took out the small box. He held it out to her. “Here.”
She arched an eyebrow. “Don’t you mean my anniversary gift?”
“Don’t worry. That too. It’s too big for my pocket. It’s in my case.”
Lips pressed together, she took the box and tore open the wrapping. Inside the box were two gold earring studs.
“They’re beautiful, Ed, but-” She waggled a finger, “-you’re not out of the doghouse just yet.”
He waggled his eyebrows. “Hmm – I’m sure i can find a way to make it up to you.”
“You read my mind, I’m looking forward to a lovely dinner.”
“Not what I had in mind, but I guess I owe you.”
He wrapped his arms around her and she cupped his face.
“I love you, idiot husband.”
“And I love you, wife.”

Survivor: Not Amestris – Caviar Reward Challenge
I haven’t written any extras for this fic in a while but tonight my brother and I had a really really really hard time opening a jar of something and this idea formed as a result. I hope you enjoy this utter nonsense if you read it! Also, I’m planning on starting a new Survivor crackfic on Ao3 because I had so much fun writing this one and I need to write something dumb and silly again. If you like BNHA, stay tuned for that 😀 But anyway I hope you enjoy this little scene featuring Ed, Roy, Riza, Greed, Lan Fan and of course Jeff Probst and Heiderich ❤
“Bitchin’,” whispers Ed as he pops another cheeto into his mouth. He sits in a secluded part of the island, watching Netflix’s Stranger Things on a portable TV courtesy of Alfons Heiderich.
It’s the middle of the night and all of the other castaways are sound asleep. Ed, however, knows this is the only time he can watch his stories without arousing suspicion. For this, he sacrifices a few hours of sleep for his viewing pleasure.

If someone had asked the Fullmetal Alchemist where he thought he’d be at age seventeen, he certainly wouldn’t have predicted a sunflower patch. More specifically, an entire field dedicated to growing the most unusual of flowers. The entire idea of peace had been so foreign to him back when he was in the military, like trying to reach a roof with no ladder. He’d made his own path, albeit messily, but it had landed him here; a stretch of land so extraordinary he thought he’d carry the floral scent with him forever.

Ed didn’t know quite what to make of his newborn son.
Winry had decided she would be most comfortable giving birth at home, and they’d called in a local doctor to help deliver when the time came. Al and Mei had both traveled from Xing a few days prior, after Ed wrote them to say that her due date was close. Even Colonel Bastard and Hawkeye were there, on temporary leave from their new stations in Ishval. Only Ed was allowed to stay in the room while Winry endured ten long hours of labor, letting her squeeze his hand as hard as she wanted while she fought through every contraction. There were several times that he wondered if he would ever get the feeling back in that hand.

Yo, I finally got this one done. It took longer than I would have liked, but that’s what happens when I decide that I’m gonna handwrite something instead of just sitting down and typing it down in the first place.
27- “I’m pregnant.”
Ed knew he was a smart man. He had become a State Alchemist at the age of twelve and beat Truth to get Al’s body back. He could recite all of the elements from memory and was still at the top of alchemical knowledge despite being unable to perform alchemy anymore.
Yet he was struck dumb at the words that had come out of Winry’s mouth.
“I’m pregnant.”
Can you PLEASE do EdWin!! Modern Day AU :) thx!
It was very rare that Edward was the one to wake up first. It wasn’t that he was a particularly lazy person, or that he stayed up much later than his wife (he enjoyed falling asleep at the same time as Winry so they could do their nightly routine of kissing and cuddling), but Winry was just one of those people who rose at the crack of dawn and he wasn’t. Most of the time, he was completely okay with that too. But then there were always day like these, when he got to wake up so the sight of his radiant wife inches from his face that he wished he always rose first.
Sunlight came in through the window of their apartment, reflecting gold off of Winry’s hair and eyelashes. Her breathing was soft and slow, each puff of air hitting Ed’s neck lightly. She looked angelic, with her arms wrapped loosely around her husband’s waist and her left leg tangled in between Ed’s right leg and the stump that remained of his left. Wherever her skin touched his, he could feel the heat radiating off of her and doing a better job of heating him than their blanket. Ed honestly didn’t know what he would do without her.
For what seemed like only a few minutes, Ed just kept still with his arms around his wife, admiring how sweet she looked and amazing she felt against him. If he could remain like this forever, he would. But all too soon, the trance was broken and Ed heard the alarm on Winry’s phone go off, causing her to shift.
She groaned lightly and began to disentangle herself from Edward, only to be met with him squeezing her tighter and giving her a kiss on the forehead, “Good morning Winry.”
“Ed…” Winry’s voice was husky from sleep, but she smiled and kissed him back.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”

Sorry this took me forever but thank you so much for sending this anon!
68. “PILLOW FIGHT!”
THUNK!
Ed was sitting at his desk, brows furrowed with his nose
buried deeply in a book when his wife
thumped him across the back with a pillow.
It certainly didn’t hurt, but it startled him, and he turned around to
glare at her.“Winry! What the hell
was that for?”The way she was standing hovering over him, hands planted
firmly on her hips and eyes twinkling mischievously was incredibly nostalgic in
a way, and with a jolt he was transported back through his memories to years
earlier.They couldn’t have
been more than five or six, and he had been battling it out with Winry and his
brother, all of them thunking the other two with pillows wherever they could reach. The room had been filled with laughter and
gentle thuds of the pillows as they hit their intended targets.“PILLOW FIGHT”, Ed
bellowed, hip checking Al out of the way so that he could smack Winry with his
pillow.“YOU’RE GOING DOWN”,
Winry shrieked with laughter. To her credit, she was a fierce competitor, and within a few moments she had both Al
and Ed sitting on the ground, holding their pillows in surrender.“Okay, okay! You win Winry!” Al had stared up at her, breathless with laughter.
“That’s right!” Dropping her pillow, she had planted her
hands on her hips and stared down at them, eyes twinkling, “I win, and you two
loose! This means I’m the best! And you two have to do whatever I say for a
whole week!”“Hey wait a minute. We didn’t agree to that!”
“Edward!” Winry’s
voice snapped Ed back to the present.“I said maybe you
should have married your books with the amount of time you’ve been spending
with them.”Ed’s jaw dropped, genuinely offended. They were both incredibly supportive of each
other’s careers and endeavors, but lately they had been spending less and less
time together. Maybe she had a point.Still, he had to get in a rebuttal.
“Hey! As if you don’t
spend all your time tinkering away with your automail-”THUNK!
She whacked him again, this time on the chest, and Ed
narrowed his eyes, though he was more amused than anything else.“Alright, that’s it.”
Winry raced out of the room and down the stairs, and Ed
followed her, picking up one of the smaller sofa cushions as she ran into the
living room.As soon as she got close enough to smack him again, he
decided to ditch the pillow altogether, and picked her up, delighted that he
got to hear her laugh that he loved so much.Winry dropped her pillow and wrapped her arms around Ed’s
neck, and they fell onto the sofa together.“I love you, Win.”
“I love you too, Ed.”
“And next time you want a pillow fight … you’re going down.”
Edwin Role Reversal AU
“Winry, stop!” His chest burned from running across all of Central only to find her automail transmuted into a blade, inches away from the throat of the Ishvalan man she’d cornered to the ground. Edward approached slowly, “Don’t… don’t do this.” He saw her tense and step in closer. The scarred man did nothing but exchange glares between Winry and himself.
She was crying. “He killed my parents, Ed…”
“Freeze!” The military police yelled behind him and his entire body seemed to take at order literally when everything went cold.
Winry’s attention wavered momentarily, enough to grant the Ishvalan an opportunity to escape by creating a cloud of dust. Electricity sparked around it and he foolishly stepped into it, looking for her. “Winry? Winry!” The dust dissipated and he found her kneeling, head bowed. She sank further to the ground. He ran the short distance, skidding until he was in front of her. The red of her cloak had a grey layer of her and it shook as she sobbed. Ed grabbed her hands, automail and flesh. “Winry, turn back your automail.”
She was still, despite the commotion around them.
“Winry…” He put her hands together into a clap he knew she did before performing alchemy. “After mom died, you took us in, taught me and Al everything you know about automail machinery, and gave us a chance at a second life.
“In Rush Valley, you were the only one able to help with the delivery saving mother and child… Military dog or not, these hands are not meant to kill. They’re meant to give life,” he said softly. “Winry…turn it back.”
She listened and by then, he could see the drops of tears wetting the stone underneath. Without thinking, he pulled her into an embrace and she began to cry in earnest – with a pain and anguish he never realized she was harboring. His heart plunged by its strings and all he could do was hold her there as she grasped at his sleeves.

Ed is slumped on the floor in front of the lockers when she finally finishes making up her AP Physics test. She glances at the lockscreen of her phone. Barely four pm, and he’s already dozing off like it’s half past midnight.
He’s fallen asleep sitting up, music playing through his earbuds, and she crouches in front of him. “I’m done with my test.” she says, just loud enough for him to hear, but not loud enough to startle him.
He blinks his eyes open and sits up a little, pulling out an earbud. “Already?”
“Yeah, it wasn’t hard.” She glances at his phone. “What are you listening to?”
Ed freezes, arm halfway across his chest in a stretch. “Nothing.”
Well now she’s really curious. Winry raises a brow. “Nothing?”
He fumbles to light his screen up and hit ‘next’, and Winry sees a familiar album cover before it flips over to a new track.
“Edward Elric, are you listening to My Chemical Romance in two thousand seventeen?”
“No!” He denies loudly, leaning away from her. “I am not!”
“I know that album cover! Conventional Weapons was all you listened to in eighth grade!”
He lets out a long, defeated noise. “It just came up on shuffle!”
