I took a little headstart to the Edween event! This doodle got its start from this ask, and the story goes somewhat like this:
Winry is usually the one to hand out the candy to trick-or-treaters (to make sure Ed doesn’t scare the kids with his costumes), but one time Ed decides he wants to have some fun with the kids so he claims his automail is in a bad shape and detaches it so Winry can go to her workshop to take a closer look… Only to notice that the leg is surprisingly fine. Meanwhile, there are a couple of very scared looking little girls by their door, looking at the one legged Jigglypuff (this was totally my friend’s idea so you can blame her for the randomness :’D But Ed would do it!) who is trying to give them their sweets in Pokéballs and he’s secretly laughing at their reactions inside his costume. His fun doesn’t last long though, because Winry finds him soon and threatens to use her wrench if Ed doesn’t stop. She later allows him to come and hand out the Pokéballs with her, but Ed loses his interest after the kids start throwing the balls at him because to them he’s a Pokémon to be caught.
