A/N: Tadah, here it is! And yes, you read that number correctly. The reason I’m giving this chapter that number is because it DOESN’T continue from where we were left off in chapter 5. Instead, I’m showing Winry’s point of view of the events between Ed leaving his hotel room and running into Winry at the gym in chapter 5. Also, let’s pretend for the sake of this fic that it’s actually normal for the skaters to hang out together 😀 Please enjoy, and remember that feedback is the only payment I get for this 🙂

Next chapter: (coming)
Words: 1929 (is this the longest chapter yet?)
Genre: this chapter probably goes under ‘general’.
Warnings: Ed’s injury mentioned but nothing else I think?
”I just remembered I need to be somewhere.”
Those were the last words Ed said before leaving Winry to stand alone in
the corridor, entirely dumbfounded.Winry knew that was the lamest excuse he could have come up with, since
he had said only one day earlier that the hours after lunch were dedicated to
rest. Besides, he didn’t seem like someone to forget his meetings just like
that. Had she done something wrong? Had she pushed Ed too hard by asking him to
tell about the incident? Those questions ran through her mind as she tried to process everything that had just
happened.“Winry?”
The girl turned around, seeing the dark-haired captain of Ed’s hockey
team approach her.“Huh?” She was still too confused to form proper sentences.
“Why are you standing there? Where did Ed go?” Roy asked.
“I… don’t know. But why are you
here?” Winry tried to counter. “I thought it’s a habit of yours to take a nap
at this time.”
